The 5 Best SEO Tools on the Market

This is the question most companies ask when they are looking to grow organic channels: What are the best SEO Tools available?
While it may seem like a simple question, it is not.
The choice of tools for the day-to-day of any SEO should be made based on the needs of the team or the professional and not expecting the SEO tool alone to solve the problems.
Different tools will reveal different data.
The best in any SEO Audit, the best is always the combination of two or more tools.
Only then will you be able to compare data and metrics?
This list of the best SEO tools should be seen as advice on some SEO tools and software without which you will hardly be able to advance your SEO strategy.
5 Best SEO Tools
Ahrefs
AHREFS has very quickly become one of the most important and complete tools for any SEO.
And it keeps growing – which gives added encouragement for customers to continue to pay for the subscription, which can be monthly or annual.
With AHREFS you can do just about anything.
And that’s why it appears at the top of this table. Confirm rankings, analyze backlinks, find content gaps, run a crawl on your site or the competition’s site to find opportunities…
The use of AHREFS is almost unlimited and there are few SEOs who enjoy all the features of this tool.
SemRush
SemRush along with AHREFS is one of the most complete tools on the market.
In fact, these two tools fight for the same segment and have been working on the same SEO services.
The usability of SemRush is a little better, but this SEO tool does not allow, for example, an analysis by URL.
I have been challenged to have to choose between one or the other.
The truth is that at this stage I have not yet been able to get rid of any of them.
The SemRush crawl is super intuitive and presents the results in a brilliant way.
Still, it limits the number of pages that are run and doesn’t allow for crawl customization as deep as Screaming Frog.
Screaming Frog
Screaming Frog is a software to crawl websites and allows you to get an idea of how Google is reading your site – or the competition.
The name is genius and sticks in the ear. But more importantly, once you start using it you won’t be able to stop.
The crawler allows you to find broken links, confirm redirects, test the consistency of the robots.txt…
Some users use the software itself to find and filter the problems. But most download the report to an Excel sheet and work from there.
The functionality of Extract is relatively unknown, but it is one of the many wonders that SEO software offers, making it possible to extract specific data (such as the date of publication of the page, for example) for the final report.
Search Console (Webmaster tools)
It seems obvious, but so obvious, sometimes Webmaster Tools (both Google and Bing) tend to be forgotten.
Google’s famous Search Console – now with more features and a 16-month record of data – is one of the most precious assets of any SEO.
Analyzing trends and analyzing site performance is almost impossible without visiting every day this powerful SEO tool that Google puts at your disposal.
Many SEOs don’t use it as often as they should and there are others who hope that GSC is the answer to every problem.
The truth will be somewhere in between.
Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture
Having a visit analysis tool is key.
Search Console can give you an idea of organic visits, but it does not have the capacity to show you direct visits, those that come from Paid Channels or Social Networks.
Daily traffic analysis should be an integral part of any morning of SEO. What are the trends?
Is the organic trend the same as seen in the other channels? Which pages or groups of pages are performing best or worst?
Google Analytics is free and easy to install.
Adobe Omniture is paid and more complex to install.
One of the other allows you to do more or less the same.
For the most part, Omniture has yet to prove its worth to Google Analytics.
