Acer unveiled the Iconia Tab M10 and Iconia Tab P10 tablets. We got to know the details about these devices.

Acer launches two new tablet offerings from the Iconia Tab series: the Acer Iconia Tab P10 and the Acer Iconia Tab M10. Both models are equipped with large screens and were created for home entertainment.

New Iconia Tabs – Memory, Battery, Camera

The new Iconia Tab tablets feature MediaTek Kompanio 500 octa-core processors, which offer up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC flash memory expandable via a MicroSD slot.

Thanks to the 6000 mAh battery, both tablets are able to provide – as the manufacturer suggests – up to 10.5 hours of video playback on a single charge. In addition, the equipment is equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi, dual speakers and a 5 MP front camera. The rear camera, on the other hand, has a resolution of 8 MP and an autofocus function.

Acer Iconia Tab P10

The Acer Iconia Tab P10 has a 10.4-inch WUXGA IPS display with 2K (2000 x 1200) resolution and slim bezels for a 76% screen-to-body ratio. The aluminum alloy construction makes the device lightweight – at 7.8 mm thick, it weighs just 440 grams.

Acer Iconia Tab M10

The Acer Iconia Tab M10, on the other hand, is 8.6 mm thick and weighs 430 grams. The equipment is equipped with a 10.1-inch WUXGA 1920 x 1200 IPS display with slim bezels. Also in this case, the screen-to-body ratio is 76%. Along with the tablet, the user receives a transparent case made of TPU material, which is supposed to protect the device from shocks.

Learning & Entertainment Apps

Both Iconia Tabs come pre-installed with Google Kids Space and Google Entertainment Space. Google Entertainment Space serves as a portal for apps that give access to movies, shows, videos, games, books, podcasts, and music.

For the Acer Iconia Tab P10 tablet we will pay 229 euros. In contrast, the Acer Iconia Tab M10 costs from 179 euros.
